‘The Wonderful Words’ ಮೇರಿ ಓ’ನೀಲ್ ಬರೆದ ಕವನ. ಈ ಕವಿತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾವು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪದಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಕವಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Stanza 1
Never let a thought shrivel and die
For want of a way to say it
For English is a wonderful game
And all of you can play it.
ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಯಲು ಬಿಡಬಾರದು. ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬಹುದು. ನಾವು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಆಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಪದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಟವನ್ನು ಆಡಬಹುದು.

All that you do is match the words
To the brightest thoughts in your head
So that they come out clear and true
And handsomely groomed and fed-
For many of the loveliest things
Have never yet been said.
ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಕರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಹೇಳದಿರುವ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಪದಗಳು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ.

Words are the food and dress of thought
They give it its body and swing
And everyone’s longing today to hear
Some fresh and beautiful thing:
ಪದಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಗೆ. ಪದಗಳು ಅದರ ದೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಿಂಗ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಈಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಾಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಳೆಯ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಯಾರೂ ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತಾಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿ. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಜನರು ಕೇಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

From its prison behind your eyes
May be your mind is holding now
A marvelous new surprise!
ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಅವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಡಗಿವೆ. ನಾವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಪದಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬಹುದು. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ವರ್ಣಮಯವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಪದದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ.
