The Three Questions ಪಾಠದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾರಾಂಶ
ಈ ಪಾಠದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಮೂರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಉತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಯಾವುವು?
1. ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸಮಯ ಯಾವುದು?
2. ರಾಜ ಯಾರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕು?
3. ರಾಜನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿಷಯ ಯಾವುದು?
ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಮೂರು ವಿಷಯಗಳು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ವಿಫಲನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ತನ್ನ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಹಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅನೇಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಗಳು ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತ ತನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸನ್ಯಾಸಿಯ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದನು.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ರಾಜನು ಸಂನ್ಯಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೋದನು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧು ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಿಸಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ರಾಜನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಡ್ಡದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ರಾಜನ ಅಂಗರಕ್ಷಕನಿಂದ ಅವನು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡನು.
ರಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧು ಗಡ್ಡದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಗಡ್ಡಧಾರಿ ರಾಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇಡು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜನು ಗಡ್ಡದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗಡ್ಡದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ರಾಜನ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಸೇವಕನಾದನು.
ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಸನ್ಯಾಸಿ ರಾಜನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ.
1. ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸಮಯ ಯಾವುದು?
“ನೆನಪಿಡಿ, ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಸಮಯ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಸಮಯವು ‘ಈಗ’ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಮಯ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಯಾವುದೇ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಸಮಯ ಇದು.
2. ರಾಜ ಯಾರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕು?
ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಇರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ.
3. ರಾಜನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿಷಯ ಯಾವುದು?
ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

The Three Questions (English Summary)
In this lesson a king has three questions and he is seeking answers to them.
What are the questions?
1. What is the right time to begin something?
2. Who should a king listen to?
3. What is the most important thing for a king to do?
The king thought that he would never fail if he knew three things. So king send his messengers through his kingdom to get answers. Many wise men came to the king, but they all answered his questions differently.
As the answers to his questions were so different, the king was not satisfied. He decided to seek the advice of a certain hermit, who was widely known for his wisdom.
So the king went to meet the hermit. That time the hermit digging the ground in front of his hut. King helped him. That time beard man came toward them. He was wounded by King’s body guard.
The King and hermit treated the beard man. The beard man decided to take revenge on King. But king saved the life of beard man. So beard man became faithful servant of king.
At last hermit answered the questions of the king.
1. What is the right time to begin something?
“Remember then, there is only one time that is important and that time is ‘Now’. It is the most important time because it is the only time we have any power to act.
2. Who should a king listen to?
The most necessary person is the person you are with at a particular moment.
3. What is the most important thing for a king to do?
The most important business is to do that person good, because we are sent into this world for that purpose alone.
