Brief info of my beginning lesson

In this post we learnt McQ and important notes of the prose My Beginning. This is an extract from Kapil Dev’s an autobiography “Straight from the Heart.” Kapil Dev was the captain of Indian criket team. In his captaincy our team won the 1983 Worls Cup.

In this lesson Kapil Dev narrates his childhood experiences. This prose is for 9th English. Kapil Dev was born on 6th January 1959 in Chandigarh. His mother was a simple woman. She always regales with tales of Kapil’s naughty behavior. His ambition was travel around the world and drive Mercedes Benz car.

Kapil was fairly good at all games, exceptionally good at athletics, but dreamed of becoming a footballer. Fortunately, all his friends were interested in playing cricket and they convinced Kapil to change game. That is a decision he will always be grateful to them for.
