1. What is language?
A language is a structured system of communication. Languages are the primary means of communication of humans, and can be conveyed through speech, sign, or writing.
What is language in simple word?
A language is a system of communication which consists of a set of sounds and written symbols which are used by the people of a particular country or region for talking or writing.
Example: Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil etc.
2. What is grammar?
Grammar is the system for organising a language. Grammar allows us to structure our sentences and even our thoughts and ideas.
In linguistics, the grammar of a natural language is its set of structural constraints on speakers’ or writers’ composition of clauses, phrases, and words.
Example: Kannada grammar, English grammar, Hindi grammar etc.
3. What is letter?
A letter is a written message conveyed from one person to another through a medium.
a symbol usually written or printed representing a speech sound and constituting a unit of an alphabet

In linguistics, a word of a spoken language can be defined as the smallest sequence of phonemes that can be uttered in isolation with objective or practical meaning.
The definition of a word is a letter or group of letters that has meaning when spoken or written.
Example: Table, computer, sky, water, fan etc.
5. What is sentence?
In simple terms, a sentence is a set of words that contain: a subject (what the sentence is about, the topic of the sentence), and. a predicate (what is said about the subject)
In linguistics and grammar, a sentence is a linguistic expression, such as the English example “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.” In traditional grammar, it is typically defined as a string of words that expresses a complete thought, or as a unit consisting of a subject and predicate.
Example: Sham is singing a song.
He was riding a scotty.
