Oliver was born on a cold black night in the winter of 1837 to a poor woman in the poor house of a small country town. A doctor attended the iris birth, who was hastily called for the purpose. As soon as the child took the first breath, his mother died. She was a young, beautiful looking woman and died on the road. It was clear that she had walked some distance before she died. Nobody knew him.
Mr. Bumble called this kid Oliver Twist. It was the city office and had full authority over the poor house. He considered himself a very noble person and used to mislead and misbehave with children. After the boys swallow their food, they force Oliver to leave. He went to the Master and asked “Please sir, I want something else”.
