The poem “Ballad of the Tempest” narrates a stormy night at sea. The crew, fearing for their lives, crowded in the cabin. Even the captain loses hope and declares that ‘We are lost’. But the captain’s daughter shows firm faith by saying that ”Isn’t God upon the ocean just the same as on the land?”. Inspired by her faith, the sailors regain hope and pray with faith. By morning, the storm calms, and they safely reach the harbor. The poem highlights the power of faith and trusting in God during hardships.
