11. What is the substance of the poem ‘I am the land? Answer: In the poem “I Am the Land,” the poet asserts that the Earth’s mother has a never-ending supply of patience. The land is used extensively by man, yet she patiently lies. Numerous human actions affect the environment. She’s suffocated and choked by her chain-link necklace.
