Lasya: Hi Nidhi, what are your plans for the weekend?

Nidhi: Hi Lasya. I am going to participate in a rally on environmental safety.

Nidhi: It’s a peaceful rally regarding the contamination of air and water of the nearby lake. Lasya: Even I have been hearing about it. What is the matter?

Nidhi: It’s actually about the nearby factories dumping waste into the water and the air pollution caused by their harmful gases.

Lasya: That is a big problem, Nidhi. We should stop this.

Nidhi: Yes, you are correct we need to stop this and protect our surroundings and nature. Lasya: But how do you think we should do it?

Nidhi: We should request the factories to install filters in the chimneys to control the air pollutants and stop dumping waste to the water.

Lasya: We should inform the officers concerned to take care of this issue.

Nidhi: Yes, we need to spread awareness in the society as well. Growing plants and maintaining a clean society has its own significance.

Lasya: We should say no to air and water pollution and keep our surroundings clean.

Nidhi: Yes. Would you like to join the rally with me?

Lasya: Yes Nidhi, I would love to be a part of it.
