Activity 11.a

1) Read the story and list out naming words, action words, pronouns, prepositions and describing words from the story. Write them in the table given below.

A Rabbit and Rikki used to see an owl always see sitting on the tree without doing any work. One day it thought of taking rest like an owl and sat the whole day under a tree. A dog named Dolu saw this from its kennel and caught it easily. Rikki escaped from the dog. A tiny frog saw Rikki and invited Frog’s birthday.

A herd of animals attended the programme with different gifts. The swan sang a song praising froggy. Every day I clapped and cried bravo! Before leaving the party, the dog said “Wow! It is a great party”! One day the frog went for a morning walk. He found a unique seed. He planted it in his yard. After a few days, it grew into a beautiful plant with shining leaves and colourful flowers.
